Ms. Kavo is an experienced occupational and environmental health and safety professional with over 25 years in a manufacturing environment. 

She holds credentials as a Nurse Practitioner (NP), Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP), and Certified Occupational Health Nurse - Specialist (COHN-S). 

Ms. Kavo is trained in CISM (International Critical Incident Stress Foundation — Ellicott City, MD) and employee assistance (EAP) counseling and programming. Ms. Kavo is experienced in crisis intervention, critical incident response planning, and OSHA record keeping and investigations. She has a comprehensive knowledge of occupational and environmental health and safety issues. Her professional affiliations include membership in the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, Employee Assistance Professionals Association, Case Management Society of America, Coalition of Nurse practitioners,  and Wellness Council of Central New York.

Ms. Kavo is a Bachelor of Science - Professional Arts graduate of St. Joseph's College (Windham, ME). She received her Nurse Practitioner training from Community General Hospital (Syracuse, NY).
