The internet was once referred to as 'a solution looking for a problem'. Clearly, that is no longer the case. It now holds a wealth of valuable information for human resource management professionals and job seekers. Business Week magazine (May 17, 1999) estimated that there are now 5000+ job-search sites on the Internet. The Associated Press (12/4/99) reported that Forrester Research (Cambridge, MA) estimates that there are nearly 30,000 job-posting web sites and 2.5 million resumes circulating on the Internet. We suspect that number is increasing daily. It is nearly impossible for one to keep track of the new sites added to the Internet or to improvements to existing sites. We try to devote a small portion of our time to this task and want to share our efforts with you. We hope you will find these sites of interest.
