Searching for jobs in the
newspaper classified ads is probably the most common, although not necessarily the most effective, job search method. The Internet has made this process
especially easy in that most newspapers, all over the world, now include
employment listings from the classified section of the newspaper on their web
sites. This makes long distance job searches much easier and less expensive -
job seekers used to have to subscribe to out-of-town newspapers or ask
friends/relatives to mail the paper to them.
