FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Ontario Association of Help CentresOAHC invites Dr. Willis to present at its annual conference in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada on May 31, 1999May 31, 1999 - Dr. Willis was selected to present a workshop at Ontario's premiere association responsible for providing career and job search assistance to the province's unemployed citizens. Dr. Willis' presentation is titled The Outcomes-Based Interviewing Strategy: How to "WOW" employers. Workshop description: This program will train counselors to help clients (students, mid-career adults, career changers, and rehabilitation clients) prepare for any type of employment interview by focusing on (a) the unique performance outcomes associated with the position sought, (b) the competencies required to achieve those outcomes, and (c) the personal attributes most desired by the hiring organization. Various types of interview structures (individual, group, panel, reverse panel, etc.) and questioning techniques (behavioral, situational, etc.) will also be discussed.
